Forecast:

Situated at the foot of the Sentinel Mountain which guards the entrance to Hout Bay, Dungeons works most frequently during winter when storms breaking off from the Roaring Forties generate huge swells as they travel the breadth of the frigid south Atlantic before slamming into Cape Town and the infamous Dungeons reef. The best swell direction is from the southwest while northwest winds are off-shore.
