Andrew Marr has been riding big waves since he left school. Having spent more than a decade of winters in Hawaii, he has now settled down in Kommetjie.
Andrew, who is a carpenter by trade, is a standout whenever the waves are at their steepest and tallest. A runner up in the 2008 Big Wave Africa and winner of last years Striped Horse Challenge, he is the front runner in our event in the "best tow wave" category.
He rode a MONSTER wave during a session at Dungeons on the 1st of September. Rogue lensman, Neil Webster, did this post session interview for us.
